Last week we heard from the surgeon. They still don’t have the 3D model of Holden’s heart, but he did say that October is wide open for surgery dates. He didn’t want to nail down a date yet. They should have the model by the 20th, and once they have a chance to look it over, they’ll conference about which surgery would be best for his body in the long term.
In the meantime, Holden’s out doing normal toddler boy things like fixin’ stuff with power tools, taking ruck-sack hikes with his super soaker, and keeping time in an all-toddler band.
We appreciate your prayers for him. This weekend, on my birthday, he’ll be dedicated our church. We’re so thankful he’s made it this far, and that we have a church body willing to vow to help us raise him.
